| WHAT HAPPENED???
LANGUAGE 101
Just a recap on what happened this week...we had the Language 101 on March 8, Wednesday. Instead of having a meeting, the ISA members started preparing for the event in the student center stage at 2:00. 5 languages were presented, namely Tagalog, Korean, Indonesian, German and Mandarin and each table offered sweets and snacks popular in the country. Cookies were also sold near the door. The event allowed members to learn, have fun and meet new people. Thank you to all who participated.

| WHAT HAPPENED???
There was so many things going on in the ISA these past few days. We from the ISA, can't get enough of saying thank you to all the participants and volunteers to make the following events possible.
Mad t.v. taping
Last Friday, the members went to the Mad t.v. taping at the Hollywood Center Studios. It was funny though having to see the same scene again and again stripped the comedy out of some of the scenes. Eddie got to dance infront of the crowd and show off his sexy moves while some of the ISA members were able to get an autograph of Jeff Probst (who was the guest celebrity). After the taping, everyone was hungry and decided to go get some mexican food, some tortas and nachos.
Valentine drawing
ISA's valentine drawing was such a success. For $10 some lucky winners got movie tickets and gift certificates to restaurants like olive garden, cheesecake factory and california pizza kitchen.
ISA picnic
The ISA picnic held last saturday had everyone just chillin. We had a variety of food and we had music and football. There was also a hypnosis act that had everyone on the edge of their seats   . | | |

WHAT HAPPENED???
WOW! A number of things happened this week. Last Wednesday, Feb. 1, was the ISA's first official meeting. There was pizza and drinks and we were glad of the turnout. The officers were introduced and then they informed the old and new members of what they are planning for the ISA this semester.
 
On Feb. 3 was the T.V. taping for War at Home. 15 ISA members were able to help the club raise more than $100. After meeting at the Campus Police, the team headed to the WB studios. Though the program was long we got to see some celebrities and also win some prizes. During the breaks, an emcee was there to entertain the audience and give out prizes such as candies, dvds, t-shirts and an autographed script of that day's show. We are very proud that a number of ISA members participated and won prizes. Abraham showed off his talent by doing The Worm and got an autographed script. Javier revealed his knack for figuring out t.v. show opening music and won a dvd. Eddie presented the audience with his victory poses and got a dvd and Saul sang an acapella of "On Bended Knee" Congratulations you guys!!! Thanks for everyone who came!!
